Alvin "Chuck" Charles Fredrickson Jr., age 64, formerly of the LaCrosse area, died on Monday, October 21, 2019 in his home in Amarillo, TX.

Chuck was born on April 14, 1955 in Black River Falls to Alvin and Nellie (Kolve-Dahl)) Fredrickson Sr. He was baptized in the First Lutheran Church Parsonage in Blair by Rev. Konrad Urberg and confirmed in Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in LaCrosse.

Chuck served in and retired from the United States Air Force. He later retired from the United States Postal Service.

Chuck is survived by a son, Matthew Fredrickson of Rochester, NH; a grandson, Nathan Fredrickson of Rochester, NH; a brother, Darrell Dahl of LaCrosse and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by three brothers, Maynard Dahl Sr., Elger Dahl and Milton Dahl Jr. and a sister, Nancy Severson.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair. Vicar Paul Sannerud will officiate.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Knudtson-Mattison American Legion Post #231.
