Angeline Ann Obieglo, age 84, of Blair, died on Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Angeline was born on June 9, 1931 in Buffalo County, WI to Alex and Victoria (Misch) Lyga. She married Anton August Obieglo on November 26, 1947 in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Independence. Together they farmed until moving to Blair in 1968. Anton preceded Angeline in death on May 19, 2001.

Angeline loved listening to old time music, going to the casino, shopping, doing word search puzzles and seeing her grandchildren.

Angeline is survived by nine children, Bonnie (Derald) Tuschl of Colfax, Rose (Roger) Obieglo of Waterford, Rita (Tony) Halvorson of Taylor, Kathy (John) Berg of Blair, Ruth (Rick) Curtis of St. Louis, MO, Tony Obieglo Jr. of Milwaukee, Randy Obieglo of St. Paul, MN, Dorothy (Tom) Rutherford of St. Paul, MN and Rick (Rhonda) Obieglo of Blair; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanore Slaby and Victoria Marsolek both of Whitehall; three brothers, Adolph Lyga of Whitehall and Richard and Rollie Lyga both of Arcadia.

In addition to her parents and husband, Angeline was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair. Father Woodrow Pace will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in North Creek, WI at a later date.
