Anne Louise Nelson, age 65, of Whitehall, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Augustana Health Care Center in Minneapolis, MN.

Anne was born on February 8, 1948 in Ayr, Scotland to William and Janet (Beveridge) Money. She married Kenneth E. Nelson on April 19, 1979 in Scotland. Ken preceded Anne in death on January 24, 2000.

Anne worked at the City Café in Whitehall, the Kostner, Ward and Koslo Law Firm in Arcadia, in the clerks office for the City of Whitehall and was an aide in the Pigeon Falls Elementary School.

Anne was active in various community activities including the Special Olympics, Bloodmobile, Relay For Life, High School musicals, Gundersen Tri-County Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Coffee Chat on TCCTV. She was a member of the Valley Gospel Choir in Eau Claire and Our Saviour's Lutheran Church being active in its various organizations. Anne loved her flower gardens.

Anne is survived by two sons, Robert Nelson of Independence and Grant Nelson of Saint Paul, MN; a sister, Mara McLean of Scotland and a niece, Wendy McGeachie of Scotland.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Whitehall with Pastor Yvonne Marshall officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery in Whitehall at a later date.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
