Bernice Helen Britten, age 97, of Fergus Falls, MN formerly of Blair, WI, died on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the Pioneer Nursing Home in Fergus Falls.

Bernice was born on September 3, 1919 in rural Blair to Martin and Clara (Evenson) Knutson. Bernice married Arnold Britten who preceded her in death on May 6, 1979.

Bernice is survived by two sons, Byron (Marlys) Britten of Galesville, WI and Bernard Britten of Breckenridge, MN; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bernice was preceded in death by a son, Vernal.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
