Breck Alan Louthan, age 59, of Whitehall, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the Mayo Clinic Health System in LaCrosse.

Breck was born on May 2, 1963 in Leadville, CO to Jack E. and Sharron (Reighley) Louthan.  He married Sheila "Shelly" Curry on October 11, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ.

Breck was proud to serve in the United States Air Force from 1981-2001.  After his years of service he worked for the prison system in Colorado and the Maricopa County jails in Arizona.  Breck also worked as a security guard for Team Security in Arizona.

Breck was an avid tennis player in his youth and was a passionate bowler, which is how he met Shelly.  He also had a passion for golf, but his true sports love was football.  He was a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan and enjoyed his fantasy football league.

Breck is survived by his wife, Shelly; a daughter, Breanna Louthan of Lake Havasu City, AZ; a son, Joshua Louthan of Chandler, AZ; a brother, Scott (Theresa) Louthan of Las Vegas, NV; five sisters, Angela (Chad) Rhinehart of Salt Lake City, UT, Kelly (Eric) Swordmaker of Bellingham, WA, Penny (Mico) Verlanic of Bellingham, WA, Cindy (Bob) Berry of Bellingham, WA and Tammy Norris of Monahan, CA and his step-mother, Doris Louthan of Bellingham, WA.

In addition to his parents, Breck was preceded in death by his step-father, Dale Norris.

Military honors conducted by the Hutchins-Stendahl American Legion Post #191 will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Breck's home in Whitehall (36124 Sunset Blvd.)

A celebration of Breck's life will be held following the honors service at My Second Home (13272 Main Street) in Pigeon Falls.
