Carrie DeAnn Getter, age 44, of Blair, died on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Carrie was born on March 6, 1977 in Whitehall to Robert and Barbara (Marsolek) Getter.

Carrie enjoyed collecting dolphins and doing latch hook.  She always enjoyed talking on the phone and spending time with family and friends.  One thing that she could not do, was cook.  Man, she could burn water in a heartbeat.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Barbara, of Blair; three brothers, Bernie (Andrea) of Blair, Adam (Jenny Lanners) of Black River Falls and Alex of Blair; a sister, Lisa (Josh) Chase of West Salem; an extended "sister", Meg (Jenn) Syverson of Delavan; her paternal grandmother, Janice Getter; three sons, Neil, Steven and Trent; a granddaughter, Nova; seven nieces and nephews along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her father, Carrie was preceded in death by her oldest son, Kevin; her paternal grandfather, maternal grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
