Charles "Chuck" Loren Hoff, age 85, of rural Ettrick, died on Monday, December 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Chuck was born on July 3, 1936 in rural Ettrick to Clifford and Helen (Halverson) Hoff.  He grew up in French Creek on the family farm and lived there his entire life.

Chuck married Judy Olson on June 11, 1960 in the French Creek Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick.  Together they farmed their entire life on the family farm in French Creek.

Chuck was a very devoted and loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.  He loved his cattle and Allis Chalmers which were his pride and joy.  Chuck was always polishing, wiping and cleaning his tractors and vehicles so they were clean and spotless.  He also enjoyed boating and spending time with family.  Chuck also wanted people to know he loved them by always saying, "I love you!"

Chuck is survived by his wife, Judy, of 61 years; three sons, Kevin (Mary), Jeff (special friend, Roseann) and Troy (fiancee`, Jane); four grandchildren, Dusty (Hilary) Hoff, Alyssa (Ron) Kerska, Adam (Shaylee) Hoff and Chelsey (Cameron) Ashwell; five great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Bentley, Luther, Adeline and Monroe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lew (Trudy) Olson, Darwin (Marlene) Peters, Gary (ElJane) Eckman and Diane Olson along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a daughter, Genene Carol; his in-laws, Gleeland and Elaine Olson; brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Duann Olson; a niece, Karwin Peters and his nephew's wife, Becky Eckman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the French Creek Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery both in rural Ettrick.  Pastor Kary Jonas will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
