Cheryl Lynn Rawson, age 56, of Blair, died on Friday, May 18, 2018 in the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.

Cheryl was born January 2, 1962 in Black River Falls to Kenneth and Lois (Peterson) Johnson Sr. Cheryl grew up in Alma Center and went to school there.

Cheryl loved talking to her mother and daughters daily. She loved watching birds and had a passion for cooking and baking.

Cheryl worked at Waldo's Grocery Store in Osseo and later worked at J.R.'s Café and John's Bar & Grill in Blair. She also did home care.

Cheryl and John Rawson owned and operated C.J.'s Café for 24 years. They were married September 3, 1999 in Whitehall.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, John; her daughters, Melissa and Miranda of Blair and Mara of Humbird; a son, Jason (Amber) Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids; her mother, Lois Johnson of Black River Falls; eight grandchildren, two brothers, Dennis Johnson of Altoona and Jeff (Michelle) Johnson of Strum; a sister, Teresa (Joe) Kniseley of Taylor; a sister-in-law, Lisa Johnson of Independence; three brothers-in-law, Jim (Jan) Rawson of Middleton, David (Karen) Rawson of Neillsville and Timothy Rawson Eau Claire; a sister-in-law, Maribeth (friend, Jim Collins) Raullerson of Snohomish, WA; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Cheryl was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Johnson Jr. and her grandparents, Arthur and Angeline Peterson and Johnnie and Amy Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church East in Blair with Pastor Timothy Rawson officiating. Burial will be in Saint Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Foster.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
