Dean Jeffrey Lyngen

Dean Jeffrey Lyngen, age 72, of Whitehall, died on Monday, September 21, 2026 in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.

Dean was born on June 8, 1954 in Whitehall to Ernest William and Marion Elizabeth (Hanson) Lyngen. He married Janet Ryan on April 15, 2006 in Nashua, IA.

Dean was a self-employed truck driver for over fifty years. He loved to take his four wheeler and his dog, Benji to go visiting the neighborhood.

Dean is survived by his wife, Janet; his daughter, Crystal (Laine) Musser; a step-daughter, Jessica Ryan (David M.); a grandson, Liam Musser; two brothers, Dale (Sonja) and Dennis (Nancy) Lyngen and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell and a sister, Darlene.

Dean touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever.
