Dianne Marie Sesvold, age 76, of Whitehall, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.

Dianne was born on December 8, 1948 in Whitehall to Tilman "Tim" and Gladys (Dahl) Bergum.

Dianne graduated from the Whitehall High School and married James Sesvold in Northfield and together they had a son, Michael.  Later in life, Dianne graduated on the Dean's list with honors from WWTC in LaCrosse for office computers specialist.  She was very proud of this accomplishment.

Dianne had a passion for music, TV entertainment, her cats over the years and her Baptist Church community in Whitehall.  She will always be remembered as someone who loved to talk.

Dianne is survived by her son, Michael Sesvold; her mother-in-law, Marvel Sesvold; her godson, Gene Van Riper Jr.; many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Trudy; a niece, Theresa and a nephew, Dustin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Whitehall.  Pastors Greg Standafer and Rob Buhl will officiate. Private graveside services and burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery in Whitehall at a later date.
