Donald Allen Johnson age 70 passed away on Thursday April 26, 2013 at Gunderson Tri County Memorial Hospital. He was born October 18, 1942 in Galesville WI, to Clifford and Marie (Eckern) Johnson.

He married Alvern Tranberg at South Beaver Creek, Rural Ettrick, WI on November 24, 1984. Donald farmed in North Bend for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending his grandchildren's events and loved all of his children and grandchildren. Donald was employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center and currently at the Blair Press.

Donald is survived by: mother, Marie Johnson, Melrose, WI, wife, Alvern, Whitehall, WI, six children, Mark (Leah) Johnson, Whitehall, WI, Ann (Jeff) Hanson, Mindoro, WI, Kay Brown, Mindoro, WI, Caroline Carrie, Appleton, WI, David Witte Jr. Whitehall, WI, and Kristi (friend Becky Hole) Witte, Yuma, AZ. Thirteen grandchildren: Trey and Tess Johnson, Kristen (Joe) Fiegen, Janelle (fiancé, KC Kraudy) Hanson, Katie Hanson, Ben Pfaff, Sydney and Peyton Brown, Mary Ann Mueller, Gene (Melissa) Carrie, David (Kelly) Witte III, Kylee and Devin Witte. Ten great grandchildren, a brother, Duane (Shirley) Johnson, North Bend, WI, a sister Diane Olson, Ettrick, WI and his beloved dog, Molly.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Clifford and a brother - in -law, Duane Olson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Blair Lutheran Church, West Building, Blair. Visitation will be held from: 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, April 29, 2013 in the Jack Funeral Home, Blair, also one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow services in the South Beaver Creek Lutheran Cemetery.
