Donald Richard Hubbell, age 63, of rural Blair, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 doing what he loved most, driving semi in Arizona.

Donald was born on June 7, 1962 in Golden Valley, MN to Arthur and Sonja (Lloyd) Hubbell.

Donald loved driving semi and spent most of his life driving truck.  Many memories were in the semi with him, tractor pulls, spreading manure, milking cows and snowmobiling.  Donald enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and being with his sons in general.

Donald is survived three sons, Devin (Erika) Hubbell, Buddy Hubbell and Chance (Jacob Carmean) Hubbell; his grandchildren, Cassandra (Derek) Dewitt, Jacob and Harley Hubbell; two brothers, Brian (Sheila) Hubbell and Darren (Queleen Affeldt) Daucsavage; a sister, Tonya (Danny) Myren; a sister-in-law, Dawn Daucsavage, many nieces, nephews and his special companion and best friend, Choppie.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by three brothers, Keith Daucsavage and Bill and Art Hubbell and a sister, Valeria Bobo.
