Donald Allan Lewis, age 75, of Pleasantville, died on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.

Donald was born on January 25, 1951 in Whitehall to Andrew and Edna (Semb) Lewis.  He married Nancy Sveen on October 7, 1972 in Whitehall.

Don served in the United States Army from 1971-1974 and was stationed in Fulda, Germany.  He worked at Keenan's as a mechanic for most of his career and later at Northwest Auto prior to his retirement.

Don enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as riding the trails on his ATV with his wife.  He loved watching his son playing and coaching various sports through the years.  There were many family vacations from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast and from Canada to Florida.    He enjoyed his Sunday "NASCAR naps" but usually woke up for the finish.  He was much loved by all that knew him.

Donald is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 53 years; his son, Nicholas; his grandpuppy, Lola; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Lewis and Caren Schmidt; two brothers-in-law, Arlen (Deb) Sveen and Dennis Amundson; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lewis and a sister, Barbara Amundson.

Graveside services with military rites will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the North Beaver Creek Faith Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ettrick.  Pastor Sharilyn Wendt will officiate.

Visitation will Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall.
