Donald LaVern Loken, age 86, of Blair, died on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.

Donald was born on May 8, 1933 in Springfield township, Jackson County, WI to Oscar and Alida (Heiberg) Loken. He married Lorraine Husmoen on May 6, 1967 in the First Lutheran Church in Blair.

Donald was employed as an over the road truck driver and enjoyed traveling and sports. He was a past council member and president of the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Donald was proud of the fact that he spent 75 years on the home farm.

Donald is survived by his wife, Lorraine; three children, Duane Loken of Blair, Lori (Tim) Holesinger of Farmington, NM and Lisa (Brent) Janzen of Blair; four grandchildren, Andrew (fiancée, Alison Felt) and Allison Loken, Zackary Holesinger and Janesa Janzen; his mother-in-law, Clayown Husmoen of Blair; several sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Earl Loken; a granddaughter, Morgan Janzen; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Blair Lutheran Church East in Blair with Pastor Kathy Ingbritsen officiating.   Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
