Doris Ann Davis, age 85, formerly of Blair, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Benedictine Manor in LaCrosse with care of Gundersen Hospice.

Doris was born on February 1, 1939 in Arcadia to Clifford and Marian (Weaver) Giemza.  She graduated from the Arcadia High School and was employed as a CNA-HUC prior to her retirement.

Doris married Gerald J. Davis on July 8, 1961 in Saint Michael's Catholic Church in North Creek.  Gerald preceded Doris in death on March 2, 2012.

Doris was a person of faith who enjoyed spending time with family.  She was a great cook and enjoyed a good shopping trip.

Doris is survived by three children, Jeffrey (Dawn) Davis of Holmen and their children, Benjamin (Kelly) Davis and Kayli Davis, Pamela Davis of Holmen and Scott (Nicole) Davis of Chippewa Falls and their son Andrew; her fur friends, Beau, Rooney and Poppy; two sisters, Betty (James) Wozney of Arcadia and Debi Franson of Pigeon Falls along with nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Ansgar's Catholic Church with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair.  Father Zacharie Beya will officiate.Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be designated to the Trempealeau County Humane Society.
