Edward Lloyd Resner, age 79, of Pigeon Falls, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, WI died on Sunday, March 30, 2014 in the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.

Edward was born on May 7, 1934 in Sturgeon Bay to Alexander and Sarah (Paul) Resner. He married Catherine Ewert on March 17, 1973 in Sturgeon Bay.

Edward served in the United States Army and was an engineer on tugboats on the Great Lakes. He was later employed as a mechanic with the city of Sturgeon Bay.

Edward loved his machine shop, constantly making and fixing things and enjoyed his Harley Davidson.

Edward is survived by his best friend, Cathy; a daughter, Amy (Phil) Lammers of Eau Claire; two grandchildren, Alex and Rachael Lammers; several brothers and sisters.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by two sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall with Pastor Terry Lorenz officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
