Elaine Mae Hamilton, age 82, of Blair, died on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Elaine was born on August 3, 1932 in rural Westfield, WI to Albin and Edna (Kottke) KIimke. She married Keith K. Hamilton March 25, 1951 in Harrisville, WI.

Elaine and Keith moved to Blair in 1963 where Elaine was the bookkeeper for the Blair School System prior to her retirement. Elaine was a member of the Blair Lutheran Church West and was active in its various organizations. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary.

Elaine enjoyed playing 500 with her card playing group, coffee at the Rainbow restaurant and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Keith; three children, Paul Hamilton of Blair, Jane (Brian) Bremer of Waumandee and Tim Hamilton of Blair; five grandchildren, Beth (Blake) Bianco, Brent (Ellie) Bowers, Heidi, Nick (Gennah) and Haley Bremer; three great-grandchildren, Brianna and Bailey Bianco and Zoe Bowers; a sister-in-law, Janice Klimke of French Island.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy and a brother, Allen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West in Blair with Pastor Barbara Bruneau officiating. Graveside services and burial will be in the Oakhill Cemetery in rural Westfield, WI on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
