Ethel Marie Lovberg, age 99, of Blair, died on Monday, November 1, 2021 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Ethel was born on July 18, 1922 in Blair to Olaf and Olga (Halvorson) Lovberg.  She graduated from the Blair High School in 1940.

Ethel was employed in the finance department for AMPI in Blair prior to her retirement.  Ethel was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Blair and was a Sunday School teacher  and Sunday School Chair for many years.

Ethel is survived by two cousins, Roger Kensmoe of Strum and Raymond Olson of Minneapolis, MN along with other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair.  Pastor Paul Sannerud will officiate.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Blair Lutheran Church or the Blair-Preston Library.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
