Eunice Ruby Patten, age 90, of Galesville, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the Marinuka Manor in Galesville.

Eunice was born the eighth of nine children to Lewis and Clara (Kamprud) Pederson on June 15, 1924 in Ettrick, WI. She married Francis W. Patten on August 17, 1946 in West Allis.

Eunice was employed as a teacher's aide at the Ettrick Elementary School. She was a member of Saint Bridget's Catholic Church, its Altar Society and the Ettrick Ladies Auxiliary. Eunice was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed golfing.

Eunice is survived by a son, Terry Patten of Ettrick; three daughters, Patricia (Tom) Meyers of Fond du Lac, Eva Gamoke of Arcadia and Sue Severson of LaCrosse; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eunice was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters, a daughter-in-law, Rosie Patten and a son-in-law, Dennis Gamoke.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Bridget's Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery both in Ettrick. Father Edmund Doerre will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
