Evangeline Mae Johnson, age 84, of Blair, died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Evangeline was born May 4, 1930 in Germania, WI to Clarence and Mildred (Brech) Koepke. She married Ralph Johnson on September 2, 1953 in Blair.

Evangeline was a member of Blair Lutheran Church East. She loved to dance, travel, bake, tending to her flowers and spending time with her family.

Evangeline is survived by her husband, Ralph; seven children, Jeff Johnson of Blair, Dorene (Ken) Betz of West Bend, Sarah Johnson of Ettrick, Gail (friend, Pete) Rauss of Whitehall, Gordon Johnson of Blair, Robbie (Terri) Johnson of Rockford, IL and Bruce (Judy) Johnson of Blair; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Evangeline was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne and an infant daughter, Theresa.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church East with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Dana Jackson will officiate. Friends may call from noon until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Rest Haven Cemetery Association.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
