Evelyn Thelma Sodergren, age 95, of Blair, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Evelyn was born on August 14, 1919 in the town of Franklin, Jackson County, WI to Harold and Minnie (Hagestad) Noren.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Linda Knutson; two sons, Dr. Edward (Marion) and Pastor James Sodergren; a special sister, Norma Lien; a special sister-in-law, Marge Sodergren; a sister-in-law, Edith Noren; a brother-in-law, Pat (Barb) Sodergren; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews who were all very special to her and numerous friends.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by three brothers, three grandchildren and other relatives and special friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the North Beaver Creek First Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery both in rural Ettrick. Pastors Elizabeth Albertson and James Sodergren will officiate.

Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Evelyn's family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Grand View Care Center for the loving care shown to Evelyn.
