Frances Ann Taylor, age 80, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Trempealeau County Health Care Center in Whitehall.

Frances was born on May 5, 1936 in Dixon, IL to Harry and Edna (Clark) LaBar.

Frances lived in Dixon, IL until 2009 when she moved to Ettrick where she lived with her daughter, Cathy Grove. She moved to the Trempealeau County Health Care Center in Whitehall in December of 2014.

Frances retired from Flex-o-Glass in 1998. She worked as a bus attendant for about five years after that and also for the Foster Grandparent Program until she moved to Ettrick. She also worked at the Lutheran Church in the nursery for several years.

Frances enjoyed crafts and spending time with her little dog, Tedo, when she wasn't involved with the Foster Grandparent Program or with the Lutheran Church in Dixon, IL.

Frances is survived by two daughters, Cathy Grove of Ettrick and Dixie Eberhardt of Amboy, IL; six grandchildren, Richard Taylor of Dixon, IL, Natalie Taylor of Belvidere, IL, Crystal Taylor of Holmen, Terrell Spangler of LaCrosse, Jeffery Taylor of Polo, IL and Jolene Eberhardt of Ashton, IL; five great-grandchildren, a brother, Harry LaBar of Morrisville, NC; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a son, Richard; two sisters, Edna Strader and Avalon Jenkins and a brother, Kenneth.
