Galen Todd Qualley, age 64, of Whitehall, died on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.

Galen was born on September 18,1959 in Whitehall to Tilford and Gloria (Nordby) Qualley.

Galen was a welder by trade and worked at Nelson Muffler in Arcadia. He also lived and worked in California for a short time.  Galen had various jobs throughout his life but the most recent one was working for ADRC delivering meals on wheels, which he enjoyed very much.  Galen loved the people he delivered meals to and liked to check up on them to make sure they were okay.

Galen enjoyed fishing, Harley riding and road tripping.

Galen is survived by a daughter, Kayla (Ed) Harrington of Blair; two grandchildren, his mother, Gloria, of Whitehall; two sisters, Anna (Todd) Tiffany of Whitehall and Patty (Gary) Johnson of Altoona and his close friend, Linda Stendahl.

In addition to his father, Galen was preceded in death by an infant brother, Gaylord.

A celebration of Galen's life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 beginning at noon at the Whitehall-Pigeon Rod & Gun Club in rural Whitehall.
