Gary Winston Dahl, age 82, formerly of Blair, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Black River Falls.

Gary was born on December 19, 1942 in Whitehall to Phillip and Muriel (Hanson) Dahl.

Gary graduated from the Blair High School.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Nevada for four years.  After returning home, Gary worked at Coast to Coast, Miller's Hardware and Clipper's IGA, all in Whitehall.  When he wasn't working, Gary shared his love for music by playing guitar in the band Stone Pony.  If you would stop to visit him, he always had a radio or stereo on.

Gary is survived by a brother, David Dahl of Blair and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and David Hoesley and a sister-in-law, Patricia Dahl.

Military graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Blair.
