Gloria Mae Kohnert, age 73 of Pigeon Falls, died on Friday December 21, 2012 in the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse.

Gloria was born on July 28, 1939 to Gaylen and Minda (Anderson) Jennings. She attended school in the Melrose school district and graduated from the Melrose High School.

Gloria married Clark Kohnert on November 15, 1956 in the Melrose Methodist Church in Melrose.

Gloria enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, golfing, bowling and playing cards.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Clark, of Pigeon Falls; four sons, Gene (Susan) of Independence, Keith (friend Ruth Warner) of Onalaska, Ramon (Bonnie) of Whitehall and Lee (Sue) of Whitehall; one brother, Robert (Marlys) Jennings of Ettrick; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Peace Lutheran Church in Pigeon Falls with Pastor Dale Moe officiating. Burial will be in the Melrose Cemetery in Melrose.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
