Harold Albert Johnson, age 94, of Blair, died on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Harold was born on February 6, 1922 in Turri Coulee, rural Blair, to Albert and Gena (Mickelson) Johnson. Harold married Jean Stenberg on June 13, 1953 in the French Creek Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick.

Harold worked at the Anderson Feed Mill in Blair and later in the drying plant at AMPI prior to his retirement.

Harold is survived by his wife, Jean; three sons, Scott Johnson of Plover, Allyn (Sheryl) and Steve (Chris) Johnson both of Blair; six grandchildren, Dan (friend, Amy) Johnson, Kris Johnson, Zach (Andrea) Johnson, Ariel (Rick) Waldoch, Cady (Wyatt) Brown and Ty Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Josue Johnson and Charlie Waldoch; a brother, Ralph Johnson of Blair; two sisters, Ruth Ekern of Whitehall and Alice Herried of Blair.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Roseth.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
