Harold Frank Kubisiak, age 84, of Whitehall, died on Sunday, March 14, 2021 in his home.  He was born on September 18, 1936 to Clemens and Ethel (Paukert) Kubisiak.

Harold grew up in Stevens Point WI, attended St. Stephen's Catholic school, P.J. Jacobs High School, and the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.  In 1956 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and was honorably discharged two years later.

Harold married Kathleen Chojnacki on August 19, 1961 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point.

He became a Conservation Warden in Trempealeau, WI where he was stationed for five years, then transferred to Whitehall until his retirement in 1991.  He was also an EMT, ambulance driver, volunteer fireman, and deputy sheriff.  In his retirement he enjoyed fishing, hunting (especially turkey hunting), was an ardent Packer fan, and an author of two books.

Harold is survived by his wife of 59 years Kathleen, and sons Gregg (Heidi dec.), Michael (Brenda), David (Debra), and James (Traci).  His grandchildren include Kristine (Jacob), Jory, Brian, Laura, Joel, Hazel, and Evelyn.  And is further survived by his sister-in-law Carol Kubisiak, brother-in-law Dr Robert Chojnacki, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brother Ronald; sister Shirley (Wyman) Schmidt; daughter-in-law Heidi; and in-laws Alois and Christine Chojnacki.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 26, 2021, 5-7 p.m. at Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at
St. John's Catholic Church in Whitehall, with burial immediately following, at Lincoln Cemetery, also in Whitehall. Military rites will be conducted by the Hutchins-Stendahl American Legion Post #191.

Memorials may be designated to the Whitehall Library Building Fund.

From Harold to all of his telephone buddies, one last time, " Bye bye bye ".
