Helen Amelia Lee, age 91, of Galesville, died on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Marinuka Manor in Galesville.

Helen was born on September 6, 1923 in Disco, WI to Albert and Christine (Hilleque) Gunderson. She married Grant Milo Lee on April 20, 1943 in Cudahy, WI.

Helen worked in several restaurants in Cudahy and a variety store in Racine prior to moving to the Fountain City area where they bought a farm. Grant and Helen moved to the Galesville area in 1980. Grant preceded Helen in death on January 25, 2007.

Helen enjoyed doing crafts and listening to music.

Helen is survived by three sons, Garry (Elaine) Lee of Blair, Clifford (Sharon) Lee of Trempealeau and Duane (Pamela) Lee of Ettrick; a daughter, Grace (Donald) Bork of Galesville; a brother, Alvin Gunderson of Watertown, WI; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, three nieces and four nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Gertie (William) Moen; a brother, Harlan Gunderson; a grandson, Garry; a step-grandson, John; a nephew and a step-nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
