Henry "Hank" Anderson, age 92, of Blair, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Henry was born on May 24, 1920 in rural Blair to Albert and Amanda (Hermanson) Anderson. He married Lillian Johnson on May 12, 1958 in Mayville, NY. Lillian preceded Henry in death on December 23, 2002.

Henry was employed as a turbine machinist for Allis Chalmers prior to his retirement in 1979. Henry and Lillian moved to rural Blair to enjoy retirement.

Henry enjoyed dining out, tinkering and making inventive tools, dancing, blue-grass and country music and good conversation with friends and family. He loved the animals on the farm and was "always lucky".

Henry is survived by a daughter, Jeanette Anderson of Eau Claire; a special friend, Serene Dahl of Blair; a family friend, Cathy Leeson of Eau Claire; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Anderson of Blair and a nephew,
Roy Anderson of Arizona.

In addition to his parents and wife, Henry was preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton and Orville Anderson and two sisters, Helen Anderson and Elvira Hansen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blair Lutheran Church East with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.
n will be Friday, January 4, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
