Henry "Gee" Paul Clatt Jr., age 89, of Blair, died on Friday, August 26, 2016 in the Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls.

Henry was born on September 14, 1926 in Whitehall to Henry and Alma (Nordhus) Clatt Sr. Gee lived in Blair most of his life. He was a war veteran and was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1947. In 1948 he started working at Fort McCoy where he met his wife, Adeline Schliefer. Henry and Adeline were married on March 12, 1952 in Milwaukee. Adeline preceded Henry in death on January 18, 1981.

Gee was an avid fisherman. He took first place at the Chippewa County Fair with a 42 ½" 21 ¾ lb. northern pike. Gee loved to hunt and dance and was a fantastic bowler of 72 years. He also enjoyed shooting trap and playing pool. Gee was a big jokester and liked giving others a hard time. Most of all, he loved his family!

Gee is survived by his children, David (Marie) Clatt of Whitehall and Julie (Michael) Hansen of Black River Falls; eight grandchildren, Betsy Clatt, Matthew (Kim) Clatt, Michael Clatt, Chad Hansen, Amy (Matthew) Stanton, Holly (Andy) Pierce, April (Kurt) Hass and Nicole (Charlie) Sundberg; nine great-grandchildren, Brenna, Ashlyn and Regan Clatt, Mason, Mckinley and Mitchell Stanton, Aiden and Wyatt Pierce and Klay Haas.

In addition to his parents and wife, Henry was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Marie (Johnus) Hoem and Betty (Clifford) Touchette and a special friend, Jean Christianson.

As grandpa would say, "He's REAL good!"

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair with Pastor Kary Jonas officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Blair at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair.
