Jacalyn Ann Hanson, age 36, of Blair, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Jacalyn was born July 30, 1979 in LaCrosse to Scott and Joye (Vehrenkamp) Hanson. She graduated from the Blair-Taylor High School in 1998.

Jacalyn bartended and cooked at various bars in the LaCrosse area, Ettrick, Blair and York. She liked to have fun and lived for her four children.

Jacalyn is survived by her four children, Henry, Daizy and Vivian Woof and Oliver Lloyd; her parents, Scott and Joye Hanson of Blair; a brother, Joshua Hanson of Ettrick; a niece, Kaitlyn Hanson of Blair; her grandmothers, Pat Hanson and Darby Vehrenkamp both of Blair; several aunts and uncles.

Jacalyn was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Art Hanson and Dick Vehrenkamp.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial at a later date in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.

Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

A reception will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Blair Sportsman Club in rural Blair.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
