James Leo Meyers Jr., age 45, of Blair, died on Friday, December 7, 2012.

Jim was born on February 19, 1967 in Whitehall to James and Hardis (Eliason) Sr. He married Jennie Braden on February 24, 2012 in Whitehall.

James was employed with Ashley Furniture Industries in Arcadia. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and watching the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jennie; a daughter, Holly (fiancé, James Hasledalen) Meyers of Eau Claire; his parents, James and Hardis Meyers Sr. of Blair; eight brothers and sisters, Jerry Meyers of Black River Falls, Terry Meyers of Taylor, Judy (Carl) Skull of Branson, MO, Beverly Waldera of Blair, Marilyn (John) Berry of Flint, MI, Kay Martin of Westchester, PA, Kathy (Patrick) Nelson of Waterville, IA and Karen (Anton) Stawarz of Ettrick.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Blair Lutheran Church West in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
