Jean Emilia Johnson, age 89, of Blair, died on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in the Gundersen Tri-County Care Center in Whitehall.

Jean was born on October 27, 1931 in French Creek to Oscar and Emilia (Buxrud) Stenberg.  She married Harold A. Johnson on June 13, 1953 in the French Creek Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick.  Harold preceded Jean in death on July 17, 2016.

Jean loved being a mom and grandma more than anything and enjoyed baking special treats for her children and grandchildren.

Jean is survived by three sons, Scott, Allyn (Sheryl) and Steven (Chris) Johnson; six grandchildren, Zac (Andrea) Johnson, Dan Johnson, Kris (friend, Dawn) Johnson, Cady (Wyatt) Brown, Tyler Johnson and Ariel (Rick) Waldoch; seven great-grandchildren and a brother, John Stenberg.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair.  Pastor Paul Sannerud will officiate.
