Jeanette Monica Johnson Moe, age 78, of Whitehall WI died with her family by her side. On Monday, July 29, 2013 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeanette was born January 21, 1935 in Independence, WI She Married Burton E. Johnson in Independence on January 5, 1953, she later married Clark Moe in Pigeon Falls, WI on August 19, 1989.
Family and friends were Jeanette's top priority, as well as her love for the Lord.
Jeanette had a passion for flowers and gardening, she enjoyed watching the Humming Birds in her yard.
Her interests included cooking, baking, ceramics, crocheting, knitting, reading and listening to music.
Jeanette is survived by six children, Jimmy (Daryl) Johnson of Ettrick, WI, Jeff Johnson of Whitehall, WI, Juanita (Steve) Lane of North Pole, Alaska, Jason Johnson of Pocomoke City, MD, Jerry (DeeDee) Johnson of Eleva, WI and Judy (Bruce) Johnson of Blair, WI. She is survived by eighteen grandchildren, Zach, Ross, Samuel, Joel Johnson, Brad and Brian Lane, Melissa, Miranda, Samantha Korpal, Scott and Matt Erickson, Katelyn, Allie, Nick, Braeden, Emmalee Johnson, Angie and Amy Moe. Also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents George (Monica M. Lyga) Puchulla and a sister Pat A. Julson
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church in Whitehall, WI. Father Woodrow Pace will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 4 till 8 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall, WI. A rosary service to be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at church.
Memorials may be given in Jeanette's name to the American Cancer Society.
