Jerome "Jerry" "Shakey" Edward Estenson, age 73, of Whitehall, died on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Jerry was born on December 16, 1941 in San Diego, CA to Earl and Selma (Skoyen) Estenson. He attended the Whitehall Elementary School and graduated from the Whitehall High School.

Jerry married Diane Kathryn Christianson on August 26, 1967 in Independence and together they raised three children.

Jerry served in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War. He was employed as a truck driver for Landry's, Land 'O Lakes and Ashley Furniture Industries for twenty five years. Jerry also owned and operated Diane & Shakey's Bar in Whitehall where Jerry and Diane worked together for fifteen years until 2006 when they sold the bar and retired.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Diane; his mother, Selma Estenson of Whitehall; three children, Terry (Jenny) Estenson of Whitehall, Korine (Tracy) Solberg of Blair and Tom Estenson of Whitehall; nine grandchildren, Karli, Kelby, Kylee, Kysen, Shaun, Olivia, Keanen, Kaige and Keanu; three great-grandchildren, Lexus and twins, Brantley and Elsa; a brother, David (Janet) Estenson of Eau Claire; two sisters, Sharon (Randy) Fuerst and Linda (Larry) Tomter both Eau Claire.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Earl.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Whitehall with Pastor Yvonne Marshall officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, January 26, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
