Jo-Ann Karen Tidquist, age 81, of Blair, died on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Jo-Ann was born on August 25, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Eric and Lilly (Berg) Erickson. She married Glen Tidquist on August 30, 1957 in Crystal Falls, MI. They were later divorced.

Jo-Ann worked at various factories, house cleaning and was a CNA at the Grand View Care Center in Blair for numerous years. She loved to go fishing, travel, Swedish weaving, growing various house plants and spending time with her family and friends.

Jo-Ann is survived by her four children, Thomas (Deb) Tidquist of Independence, Tamara (Frankie) Soto of Abbotsford, Steven (Debbie) Tidquist of Blair and George Tidquist of Blair; a brother, Roy (Tammy) Erickson of Port Richey, FL; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a special friend, Ken Tjoflat of Ettrick and a brother-in-law, Gary Tidquist of Blair.

In addition to her parents and ex-husband, Jo-Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Carey.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair. Pastor Anna Sorenson will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Burial will be in the French Creek Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ettrick at a later date.

A celebration of Jo-Ann's life will be held at a later date.
