Joan Gloria Pride, age 71, of Osseo, died on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.

Joan was born on September 2, 1940 in Osseo to Tracey and Loretta (Sunday) Gunderson.

Joan graduated from the Osseo High School. She was employed at the Trempealeau County Health Care Center in rural Whitehall, the Farnum House in Whitehall and the Independence News Wave in Independence. Joan enjoyed watching her grandsons play sports.

Joan is survived by four children, Sue Pride of Chicago, IL, Tracy Pride of Denver, CO, Tim Pride of Osseo and Troy (Kris) Pride of Whitehall; five grandsons, Tim, Tom and Tyler Garrity, Jordan and Brett Pride; two brothers, Robert (Mary)Gunderson and Andy Gunderson both of Osseo; three sisters, Tina (Cliff) Ellifson of Waukesha, Rosemary Neprud and Janice (Art) Aldrich both of Eau Claire.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Esprit Eugster.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Jack Funeral Home with burial in the Lincoln Cemetery both in Whitehall. Pastor Arlan Helstad will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
