Joshua Dale Anderson, 32 of Ettrick passed away unexpectedly Friday October 23, 2015 from a Pulmonary Embolism.

Joshua was born January 19th, 1983 to Dale and Julie (Haldeman) Anderson.

He was baptized and confirmed at South Beaver Creek Lutheran Church. He had outstanding love, faith and commitment for his church of which was shown through his dedication and devotion including assisting with teaching Sunday School. With his helpful and willing hands he put them to good use with many events at church, including the Chicken-Q and the Fall Meatball Dinner.

Josh grew up in Ettrick and was very proud where he came from. He graduated from G-E-T High School, class of 2001. He was his dad's right hand man, loved watching Hallmark movies with his mama, cruising with his sister Desi, shopping with his Aunt Cindy, golfing with his brother-in-law Joe and many other countless activities with all the rest of his family and friends. He spent many hours on the ball field and the golf course. He loved to hunt and hang out at his Uncle Rich's cabin with his dad, uncles, cousins and friends. He loved watching sports, especially the Badgers, Brewers, Packers and the Redhawks.

His smile lit up the darkest room he walked into. His generosity, kindness, and gentle soul has touched many lives. He loved his family and friends with all of his heart.

He is survived by his parents Dale and Julie of Ettrick, his sister Desiree and her husband Joe Books of Chetek and their dog Stormy Boy, his "four-legged nephew".

He is further survived by: Grandparents Orvis and Margaret Anderson of Ettrick; Florence Ussery of North Augusta, SC; Aunts and Uncles: Cindy Haldeman of Eau Claire; Rich and Marie Anderson, Layne and Sarah Anderson all of Ettrick; Caroline and Daniel Boland of Waynesboro, GA; Cousins Benji, Mike, Johnathon, Jennifer, Nick, Aaron and Lillie; Godparents Vern and Mary Affeldt, along with many other special family and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his Grandpa Boyd, Great-Grandpa Fritz and Grandpa Bob among many other special family and friends.
In honor of Joshua's love for the game, feel free to wear your favorite sporting apparel whether it's Badgers, Brewers, Packers, Redhawks, camo or even the Vikings if you must.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the South Beaver Creek Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery both in rural Ettrick. Pastor John Ashland will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. in the South Beaver Creek Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
