Leslie "Les" Robert Olson, age 71, of Coral City, died on Monday, April 4, 2016 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Les was born on November 23, 1944 in Whitehall to Norman and Agnes (Lundstad) Olson. He graduated from Whitehall High School and served in the United States Army. Les was employed with the General Motors Corporation in Janesville for thirty years prior to his retirement in April of 1998.

Les was an avid dog lover and enjoyed going to auctions, gardening, riding his Harley, hunting and being outdoors. He loved decorating for Christmas and Halloween and was a true Packer and Badger fan at all times.

Les is survived by two daughters, Rachelle (Dan) Guse of Whitehall and Rhonda (Kurt) Lloyd of Northfield; a granddaughter, Rhiana; two great-grandchildren, Merrick and Melanie and his dogs, Corky and Nitro.

In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Graves and Mary Haines.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Pigeon Town Hall where lunch will be served.

Memorials may be designated to the Trempealeau County Human Society in his memory.
