Luanne Faye Schorbahn, age 64, of Whitehall, died on Monday, July 23, 2012 in the Tri-County Memorial Nursing Home in Whitehall.

Luanne was born on April 15, 1948 in Whitehall to Herman M. and Fernanda M. (Lindberg) Noren. Luanne graduated from the Blair High School in 1966. She attended the UW-LaCrosse for two years and the Barber School in Eau Claire for a year.

Luanne was employed at the Tri-County Memorial Hospital in the maintenance department and also drove school bus for over 42 years. Luanne enjoyed bowling, softball, travelling, gardening, woodworking, deer hunting, birdwatching and riding her motorcycle.

Luanne is survived by her dear friend, Julie Crivits of Whitehall; three brothers, Rodney (Kris) Noren of Blair, Wendell (Cindy) Noren of Ettrick and Kerby (Barbara) Noren of Trempealeau; eight nieces and nephews and many great- nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Luanne was preceded in death by twin brothers, Arlan and Alan; a nephew Joshua Miller and an infant nephew.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the North Beaver Creek Parish First Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick with Pastor Elizabeth Albertson officiating. Burial will be in the Northfield Cemetery in Northfield, WI.

Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the church on Saturday.
