Lucille Anna Olson, age 81, of Pigeon Falls, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in the Mayo Clinic Health System Oakridge Hospital in Osseo.

Lucille was born on February 3, 1931 in Lisbon, Waukesha County, WI to Michael and Cecilia (Gebhard) Wierl. She married Richard A. Olson on February 28, 1970.

Lucille and Richard moved to Pigeon Falls from Merton, WI in 1978. Together they owned and operated the Pigeon Tap. Lucille was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and truly had a "green thumb". She was a member of Saint John's Catholic Church and enjoyed coulee toolin'.

Lucille is survived by five children, Randy Doman of New Lisbon, WI, Mike (Norma) Doman of Sierra Vista, AZ, Susan (Eugene) Schwock of Augusta, Linda (Kevin) Dubiel of Strum and Patty (Mark) Engevold of Osseo; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Joan (Don) Brauch and Audrey Lancaster both of Menomonee Falls; two brothers, John (Lois) Wierl of Beecher, IL and Vincent (Katie) Wierl of Sussex.

In addition to her parents and husband, Richard, who died on March 11, 1991, Lucille was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint John's Catholic Church in Whitehall with Pastor Woodrow Pace officiating. Burial will be in the Pigeon Creek Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Pigeon Falls.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
