Lyle Francis Anderson, age 88, of Blair, died on Friday, August 5, 2016 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Lyle was born on June 25, 1928 in Black River Falls to Martin and Berenice (Herreid) Anderson. He married Doris Olson on June 8, 1947 in Blair. Doris preceded Lyle in death on October 9, 2007.

Lyle was employed as a manager for NSP prior to his retirement. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter and enjoyed participating in cribbage tournaments.

Lyle is survived by three children, Layne (Cindi) Anderson and Rod (Holly) Anderson both of Blair and Colleen (Ron) Hamilton of White Bear Lake, MN; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Fern Aleckson of Taylor and special family friends, Don and Nelda Lee and Roger and Sharon Lokken.

In addition to his parents and wife, Lyle was preceded in death by a brother, Merlin and an infant brother and sister.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Blair Lutheran Church West with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor John Ashland will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday, August 8, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
