Marilou Ellen Maciosek (Prescott-Murphy), age 68, of Blair, died on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in her home.

Marilou was born on November 11, 1946 in Black River Falls to Gordon and Alice (Gates) Murphy. She was raised and attended school in Black River Falls.

She married Terry Prescott in 1965 and they later divorced. On August 27, 2010, Marilou married Frank Maciosek.

Marilou was employed at Northern Engraving in Sparta for about twenty years. She later worked for Ashley Furniture Industries prior to her retirement.

Marilou enjoyed fishing, camping, flea markets, crafts, collecting wolf figurines, rummage sales, her retirement, sports cards, watching the Green Bay Packers and going to their land up north.

Marilou is survived by her husband, Frank; three daughters, Dawn (Steve Murphy) Bingham of LaCrosse, Denise (Troy Windsor) Prescott of Black River Falls and Deann (Scott Ryan) Culpitt-Gardow of Arcadia; two stepsons, Michael (Katie) and Jeremy (Leslie) Maciosek; eight grandchildren, David (Jordan) Bingham, Kyle (Lauren Donahue) Bingham, Lance and Eric Jacobs, Jessica (Dan Houle) Culpitt, Samantha Culpitt, Ryan and Breanna Gardow; two step-grandchildren, McKenzie and Caleb; seven great-grandchildren, Josey, Sampson, Jada, Braden, Skylie, Adam and Blake; three sisters-in-law, Rita, Doris and Ruth.

In addition to her parents, Marilou was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon "Sunny" Jr.; two sons-in-law, a great niece, a step-grandson and her ex-husband, Terry Prescott.

A celebration of Marilou's life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. in Swenson's Bar in Blair.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
