Marjorie Ann Anderson, age 82, of Blair, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Marjorie was born on January 11, 1931 in Modena, WI to Waldemar and Lydia (Wiemar) Heck. She married Clinton A. Anderson on September 10, 1950 in Blair. Clinton preceded Marjorie in death on January 29, 2010.

Marjorie and Clinton farmed in the town of Preston for 50 years before moving to Blair. Marjorie was a loving, kind and generous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always put others before herself. Her smile warmed the heart of anyone who knew her.


Marjorie is survived by a son, Roy (Marilyn) Anderson of Tucson, AZ; a grandson, Tim (Mary) Dallman of Rochester, MN and two granddaughters, Alexandra and Clarissa Dallman of Rochester, MN.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by five sisters, Deloris Brown, Verna Nelson, Miriam Loging, Ruth Wehrs Cooley and Edith Heck.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blair Lutheran Church East with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
