Marjorie Harriet Olson-Arneson, age 99, of Blair, died on Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Marjorie was born on June 22, 1916 in the town of Albion, Jackson County, WI to Emil and Julia (Haugen) Olson. She married Orrin L. Olson on April 17, 1934 in LaCrosse. Orrin preceded Marjorie in death on March 15, 1962. Marjorie later married Sanford C. Arneson on July 25, 1970 in the North Beaver Creek Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick. Sanford preceded Marjorie in death on November 22, 1989.

Marjorie was employed with the LaCrosse Garment Company and Allis-Chalmers in LaCrosse, Winona Industries, Ashley Furniture Industries and Galesville Manufacturing prior to her retirement. She enjoyed music, dancing, sewing, crocheting and playing cards.

Marjorie is survived by three daughters, Greta (Duane) Johnson of Blair, Patricia (David) Dahl of Manchester, IA and Lois (Glenn) Roy of West Dundee, IL; a step-daughter, Darlene (David) Lunde of Taylor, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Marjorie was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Rheta (Richard "Rock") Stone; two grandsons, Ronald "Reed" Stone and Jeffery Dahl; two sisters, Lucille and Marcella and two brothers, Norman and Roger.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Blair Lutheran Church East with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair. Pastor Barbara Bruneau will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
