Marvin Leroy Sternitzky, age 72, of Pigeon Falls, died on Friday, January 5, 2024 in the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.

Marvin was born on February 1, 1951 in Neillsville to Clarence and Selma (Handke) Sternitzky.  He married Roberta Schleusner on June 25, 1986 in Neillsville.

Marvin farmed and made leather belts.  He enjoyed going to flea markets, his church families and friends.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Roberta; a son, Jacob Sternitzky of Granton; a daughter, Melissa (Brandon) Blumke of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Stan (Karaleen) Sternitzky of Barron and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall. Pastor John Oscar will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Granton at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
