Mary J. Schrock, age 78, of rural Blair, died on Sunday, August 5, 2012 in the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse.

Mary was born on November 28, 1933 in Independence, IA to John and Amelia (Stutzman) Mast. She married Raymond Schrock on June 30, 1955 in Fairbanks, IA.

Mary was a member of a non-denominational church. Her favorite pasttimes were flower and vegetable gardening (making sure the fruit cellar was filled with canned goods), doing small engine repairs, reading and quilting. If someone needed a helping hand she reached out to help. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, visiting family and friends or just sightseeing.

Mary is survived by her husband, Raymond; three daughters, Rachel Schrock of Medford, WI, Rosa (Elmer) Troyer of Middlebury, IN and Sarah (Allyn) Reimann of Medford, WI; five sons, Joe Schrock of Whitehall, John (Saretta) Schrock of Fall Creek, WI, Phineas (Tammy), Lawrence and Henry (Jenna) Schrock all of Blair; two granddaughters, five grandsons, four step-granddaughters, two step-grandsons, seven step-great-grandchildren, six step-great-great-grandchildren, five sisters, a brother, many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by three sons, two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blair Lutheran Church East in Blair with burial in the Carpenter Cemetery in rural Blair. Pastor Arlan Helstad will officiate.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
