Mary Ellen Wiltsie of Blair, was born on December 7, 1932 to Leonard and Helen (Piekert) Goodenough in LaCrosse.  She left us to be with her Heavenly Father on August 11, 2023 after 90 loving and beloved years.

Mary had ten children: Mary "Rita" Goodenough (Bruce) Nelson of Pardeeville, Rae Delle (Steve) Nelson of Blair, Lucinda "Cindy" Berzinski, Lynette "Lynn" (Michael) Olson of Neilsville, Margaret "Peggy" (Gary) Boe of Taylor, Lowe "Butch" (Pam) Berzinski of Brodhead, Mark (Heidi) Berzinski of Blair, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Michael) Tushkowski of Wisconsin Rapids, Wendy Berzinski of Blair and Brian (Rachel) Berzinski of Ettrick.

Mary gained three stepchildren, Robert "Bob" Wiltsie (deceased), Linda Wiltsie of Viroqua and Marie Walter of Trempealeau.

Mary is also survived by her sister, Jean Whitish of Trempealeau and 26 grandchildren: Kimberlee (John) Sylla, Matthew (Billie) Nelson, Amy (Jeff) Swanson, Bethany (Janine) Nelson-Gallo, Cala (JC) Poppe, Dana (Ryan) Wolfe, Kendra Stevens, Joseph (Nikki) Stevens, Andrew (Nissa) Stevens, Jason (Judy) Olson, Aaron (Alisa) Boe, Benjamin (Ian) Likwarz-Boe, Ryan (Sandy) Berzinski, Sara Berzinski, Trista Berzinski, Tradon Berzinski, Cindy (Jake) Thompson, Jessi Jacobitz, Mitchell (Nina) Rebarchek, Brandon (Katie) Tushkowski, Ian (Julie) Tushkowski, Sarah (Denny) Dumont, Cole Berzinski, Molly Berzinski, Briana Walter and Sean Walter.  Mary also has 45 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Berzinski; second husband, Robert Wiltsie; three sisters, Marie, Elizabeth and Ella; three brothers, Burt, Bill and Delbert; a daughter, Lucinda and a grandson, Nathan.

Mary worked as a CNA and then went to college at WWTC in LaCrosse where she earned her LPN degree.  Mary was employed as a nurse at Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall for over 27 years prior to her retirement.

Mary was an active member of Saint Ansgar's Catholic Church in Blair.  Her family was her life and her greatest joy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior in Saint Ansgar's Catholic Church in Blair with Father Jay officiating.  Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Blair.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Saint Ansgar's Catholic Church, Grand View Care Center or Gundersen Tri-County Hospital.
