Mildred "Milly" Ella Aldach, age 86, of Black River Falls, formerly of Blair and Taylor, died on Monday, April 17, 2017 in the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.

Mildred was born on March 26, 1931 in Garden Valley, rural Alma Center, WI to Frank and Ethel (Preston) Burnett. She married Albert "Shorty" Aldach on May 7, 1946 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Black River Falls. Albert preceded Milly in death on September 23, 2009.

Milly was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Ansgar's Catholic Church in Blair.

Milly enjoyed dancing, embroidering, cake decorating and ceramics. She also made floral arrangements for her children's and grandchildren's weddings. Milly enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed making others happy by sending cards and giving gifts to family and friends and remembering birthdays and special events.

Mildred is survived by her eleven children, Ellen (Douglas) Hurlburt of Black River Falls, David Aldach of Merrillan, Barbara (William) Rogstad of Taylor, Katharina (Randy) Sterner of Hudson, Nancy (Dennis) Duggan of Columbia City, IN, Peter (Rita) Aldach of Modesto, CA, Susette (Lonnie) Stenulson of Taylor, Connie (Kenneth) Johnson of Hixton, Michael Aldach of Eau Claire, Steven (Diane) Aldach of Humbird and Sherrie (Roger) Oelrich of Whitehall; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Milly was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Ann; a son, Charles; six grandchildren, a brother, Allen Burnett and a sister, Elizabeth Walezko.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ansgar's Catholic Church in Blair. Father Nathan will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in rural Taylor.

Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. in St. Ansgar's Catholic Church in Blair where a Christian prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. followed by a parish rosary. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
