Nancy Jean Christenson, age 80, of Johnsburg, IL, formerly of Blair, died peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at JourneyCare in Barrington, IL.

Nancy was born on January 9, 1941 in Evanston, IL to Louis and Annette (Miller) Conrad.  She was raised by Louis and her step-mother, Hanna Conrad.  Nancy married Gerald LeRoy Christenson on December 22, 1962 in Prospect Heights, IL.

Nancy was a devoted wife and mother.  She retired from Intermatic in Spring Grove, IL where she had worked for 25 years.  Nancy enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, friends and pets.  She attended weekly mass at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in McHenry, IL.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gerald and a son, Donald (Missy) Christenson of Wonder Lake, IL.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Conrad.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jack Funeral Home with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both in Blair.  Patti Truax will officiate.
